Playwrights - Submissions Welcome

Submissions for our 2011 season are now closed. 

We will be announcing our selections in December. 

We are not yet taking submissions for our 2012 season.

  

Submission for Summer 2011:

 

  • Alley Stage is a theatre by and for playwrights

  • We will present two or three original plays in the summer of 2011

  • We are also interested in presenting "2nd productions"

  • We seek to present a variety of plays, from dark to fun, from conventional to experimental

  • We like plays that engage the audience with a compelling story

  • Alley Stage is accepting submissions for 2011 and beyond

 

Please submit:

 

  • Synopsis

  • Full script

  • Playwright's Resume (optional)

  • Electronic submissions only to info@alleystage.com

 

Submission requirements

 

  • Plays must be limited to a maximum of 5 actors

  • Plays should be full-length (over 90 minutes)

  • Plays should require single or simple set(s).

  • NO SUBMISSION FEE!

 

Please make yourself familiar with our theatre before making your submission.  Alley Stage is an intimate outdoor stage in Mineral Point Wisconsin.

 

You will receive an email confirmation that we have received your play.
